Operational excellence and increased productivity can
be achieved when processes are synchronized and integrated.
With this in mind, DENSO has implemented the Complementation
Scheme whereby the production of specific components
of a single country within the Asia-Oceanic region is
centralized as a strategic move to achieve global competitiveness.
DENSO recognizes the need for greater production volume
scale, hence this scheme will promote localization by
production centralization in one particular country. This
synergy and synchrony of processes is coordinated by DENSO
International ASIA(DIAS), where the products manufactured
by the DENSO Overseas Group Companies (OGC) that comprise
Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and other ASEAN
affiliates are centred at.
This Complementation Scheme ultimately translates
to international competitiveness, through the cumulative
effort and collective cooperation of these participating
nations. This in turn helps to increase our market strength,
harmonize the processes of our network that extends to
different countries and enhance the overall operational
excellence in the region.
