The Industry Excellence Award 2007, organised by the Ministry Of International
Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI) has awarded DENSO Malaysia with the Certificate
of Excellence in Quality Management System.
The appreciation dinner was held on 27 May 2008 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel,
Kuala Lumpur, and officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia,
Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
In his message, International Trade and Industry Minister, Dato’ Seri Muhyiddin
Mohd. Yassin highlighted that the Industry Excellence Award was launched
in 1991 to recognize business success, encouragement as well as to
promote creativity and innovation in the industry. In the process,
businesses are also encouraged to inculcate excellence in management.
This certificate of excellence is the result of our associates
commitments and continuous improvement in quality management.
In the past, DENSO Malaysia had received DENSO President Award
2006, Selangor Environmental Award 2007, Proton Best Overall
Performance Award 2007 and various customer quality and delivery awards.
The award evaluation is based on the following criteria :

- Use of Quality Data and Information
- Process Management
- Human Resources Management
- Quality and Operational / Business Results
- Customer Focus
